Should We Try Again Or Just Move On?

This guy liked me (or claimed to) for two years and I paid him no notice. I saw him in a different light (cheesy, I know) last summer and we went out since August. Things were so good but took a turn after Christmas. I would constantly get the feeling he wasn’t into it anymore and have never felt so insecure or worthless. I did talk to him about it and gave him ample opportunities to break up with me so I dont think he wanted to!
Anyways… like so many others… I did something very very bad… yes I logged onto his facebook. And when he was drunk, he personal messaged another girl (who he used to date) Love you *name*… stunner. I told him immediately I found it (over text) and he was mad I had snooped but said sorry, But when we talked about it face to face he was all “I already said sorry so I’m not saying it again” I asked if he still liked her and he said “I don’t know, she’s a good looking girl like. I can still fancy other people like” THIS IS WRONG YES?
Anyways I broke it off but now he keeps texting me wanting to see me blah and I really really don’t know what to do! Will it ever work for us or are we just totally wrong? Should I give him another chance to see how it plays out or just forget about it entirely? Please help?

Why Does He Keep Putting Off Marriage? Help?

We have been together two years, and he was the first one to bring up the subject of marriage. He told me he was going to propose to me on our Italy holiday. We ring shopped I told him my ring size-well I found out he had no intention of proposing I was hurt and made him promise not to do that to me again.
Well, he said he was going to propose on Christmas and it didn’t happen again.
All in all, he has said and done this 5 times now-why?
If I was the one who brought up the subject of marriage first time I would have thought he felt pressured.
Now it all bothers me as I feel so hurt over it all I bring it up and it results in a heated debate where he says he wants to get married blah blah
He is 37, so not a child.
I don’t get it-anyone have any ideas?
